Kenya based artist Kiddis has come out to clear the air concerning his relationship with Grandpa Records, which follows allegations that he had started recording music elsewhere.
Speaking exclusively to Vibeweekly Kiddis revealed that he has indeed recorded a new song in a Mombasa studio titled "Jembe". "The song is dedicated to all the people who have 'planted" obstacles and have been impediments in my career" he says.
The song also features Coast based songstress Vivonce who has been making waves recently shot the video to her new song "Yelele". Vivonce is kin to take over the mantle from Nyota Ndogo who has for long lead as far as Mombasa female artists are concerned.
Kiddis also revealed that he had no intentions of signing a deal with another record label and that he intends to work as an independent artist. As to why he was ditching Grandpa before the elapse of his contract, the Kamua Leo singer revealed that his expectations were not met at Grandpa during his time at the studio.
